Guide to Setting Up and Using SMART STB

SMART STB offers a free 7-day trial upon first installation. After the trial, a one-time payment of €27 is required for permanent activation. If you decide to purchase after the 7-day trial has expired, you’ll need a new activation code and will no longer be eligible for an additional free trial period. Activation for SMART STB is handled through the developer’s portal

Download Smart STB from your Smart TV’s app store.
After installation, restart the app and press OK during loading to access the menu.

Select SYSTEM SETTINGS

In System Settings, navigate to Activation.

Stay on this screen, and using your phone, tablet, or computer, visit the SMART STB website at https://billing.smart-stb.net/cart.php.

On the SMART STB website, select “Unlock Custom Portal for SMART TV (7-day Trial)” and then click “Continue”.

You will be directed to a page displaying your activation code. Write down the code, but keep this page open.

Enter the activation code in your SMART STB application and confirm it.
Return to the website page (from the previous step). A new page will load automatically, prompting you to enter the information needed to create your account and activate the 7-day trial of the SMART STB application.
Keep your login credentials. If you decide to purchase the application during the 7-day trial, visit the SMART STB website at https://billing.smart-stb.net/cart.php to complete your purchase for a one-time fee of €27.
Note: If you wait until after the 7-day trial ends, you’ll need a new activation code and will not receive an additional free trial period.

While on the SMART STB website, navigate through the following steps:
1. Click on HOME
2. Select MY ACCOUNT
3. Go to SERVICES

You will now see your list of products, including your SMART STB license. Whether it’s active or in trial mode, click on it to proceed.

GO TO CHANGE PORTaL URL

Record your Virtual MAC address and share it with your IPTV reseller. In return, they will provide you with a URL to enter. In section 1, input this URL, and in section 2, add a name of your choice to help identify the device if you plan to set up multiple IPTV connections. Then, click Update Custom Portal URL.
Once your reseller has successfully sent the IPTV stream using the provided MAC address, simply turn on your TV and open the SMART STB application to start viewing.
